Hey there great readers of the blog world!!
What's up..I mean...how are all of you? Summer treating you well? I hope so.
Now, sometimes things happen that confuse you right? You find something in a place it shouldn't be [or if you're like me you DON'T find things in the places they SHOULD be...] The whole, where are my keys, I'm going to be late for work, oh my gosh..only to realize seconds [or minutes] later that the keys have been in your hand the entire time. As much as we don't want to admit it, it happens to the best of us and it happens more often then we'd like it to. People have invented things to help us NOT misplace things, such as the pager on the main phone dock to page every phone in the house so that you can find them, and the electronic lock thing [the name is escaping me at the moment] to help you find your car in the parking lot....well, that wasn't really invented for that purpose, was it? Oh well, some things have multiple uses...right?
Okay, so I just realized that I've rambled on that ENTIRE post, so I apologize. I'm in a very random mood today and there's not much going on here today...except working on the school work that basically every high school in the US enjoys giving to students during the summer and expect them to have it done the first day they enter the school building in September [or August depending on where you live]. It's insane, and if it wouldn't screw me over for the rest of the year, I would definitely just not do it....but since that is not an option, here I am doing HOMEWORK 3 1/2 weeks BEFORE school starts...sounds so wrong doesn't it? I agree.
Okay well, I'm out. I have to go do something called babysitting...which shouldn't really be called babysitting because most of the time, you are RARELY sitting, especially if it really is a BABY...so whatever. Off to do that. Check back later when I do my first NOT ME! MONDAY POST FROM MCKMAMA!!
Peace. Love. Blog.

AFter I posted my last post....
Okay, so after I posted my last post, I felt like I left you all feeling depressed about vacation, which was not the point of it at all! It was to point out the humor in vacation, thats all. :)
I am VERY much so looking forward to my vacation starting tomorrow! I cannot wait to be away from all the worries, all that is where I live. I can't wait to be relaxing on a beach, reading a good book, and hanging out with my best friend [and adopted soul sister] K. We're gonna be there for 5, count em, 5 DAYS!! Just relaxing on the sand, hitting the pool, getting some typical "vacation" food. It's going to be amazing!! I cannot wait any longer! Tomorrow cannot come fast enough! And the best part? No, it's not the sisterly bonding [which will be amazing] or the trips to the beach everyday [which will also be amazing]....it's going to be spending the last vacation of my high school life with people I care about. Now obviously, I can't have EVERYONE I care about at the beach with me, that's just unreal, but the fact that I get to spend it with my parents, and my "adopted sister" will make it my favorite vacation ever..
Now that I've told you all about MY vacation, what exciting things do YOU have planned for this summer!! Leave me some fun things in the comments!

The bad side of vacation....
So a very special time of summer is upon us.....a time we all look forward to with slight bit of caution because of the unknown..sound dramatic enough? Good! That was the point!
In case you couldn't guess by my quite obvious...or...not so obvious clues...this time is VACATION!
You look to it with so much excitement, counting down the days as soon as you get close enough...but then something happens....
You have to PACK. Packing could very well be the worst part of vacation [next to UNPACKING of course]. You have to make sure you have everything, and enough of everything for every day you will be there, and usually more because you know the inevitable and unlikely accident WILL happen...you know. You'll rip a shirt, this shirt gets a huge stain on it, you sit on a newly painted bench? Exactly. So you end up packing MORE then necessary and then wondering why you're suitcase is SO incredibly heavy. But no matter how many times after lugging a huge suitcase into a car you stop and say, "Next time, I'm packing LIGHT.", you never actually succeed in packing lighter the next time.
So then you get to your vacation location, say the beach. You get all the way to the beach with your HUGE suitcase full mostly of things that aren't necessary and you realize something....YOU FORGOT [insert very important item here]!! Say it's your toothbrush, your reservation confirmation, your checkbook/credit card to PAY for the room. Hopefully it's just your toothbrush though, right? Cause you can just run to the closest food store, Walmart, etc. But then you have to buy another toothbrush when you have a perfectly good toothbrush sitting at home! Oy okay you can get over that right? Of course. A toothbrush costs what? $2?
So you continue on your vacation. You're having a wonderful time :)
Then just as you think ahh I could stay here forever, the end of your vacation pops up almost saying to you "HAHA SUCKER" and you want to curl up like a little kid playing hide and seek and not leave JUST YET. But all good things must come to an end, right?
So you pack up your suitcase [which is now even heavier because of things you bought while you were on vacation] and pack up the car and head home.
Now, I could say how you always get home and realize your missing something, but that only happens if you don't SCOWER the room before you leave...oh wait.. you say you didn't? I'd go check your suitcase.
Haha okay but in all seriousness. Vacation is the one thing that most everyone looks forward to during the summer and no matter how many things may go wrong, you always come out of it with memories to last a lifetime.
Hope you're all having an awesome summer!
